Everyone probably needs one pack of receiving blankets- they usually come in sets of 3-5. And if you have a winter baby you'll also need 2 thicker blankets like the fleece ones. Even when your baby outgrows the reciving blankets, you'll use them for lightweight coverage while nursing.
