All of my children have sensitive dry skin. I used this detergent when I had my oldest with every garment of clothing he owned. It did not make a difference whatsoever.
So with the rest we just used whatever detergent we were using for the rest of the house. So skip the expensive "special" detergents for babies. You will, however, need to invest in some Shout or Spray and Wash or some sort of stain remover to help remove all those stains from spit up, poop explosions, etc.
