When shopping for one of these, I would get one similar to the picture but in a different color and minus the toy bar. You really don't need the sun covers or diaper changing areas, or small bassinet things. All you need is a standard play yard that has the removable upper bassinet area for the newborn and the lower area for the older child. Also, it's not really an essential item unless you need it because you travel alot or you want to use it so the baby can sleep in your room at night. I used one for almost the first year of life for each kid because they slept in our room. One tip is- the more extrvagant the accessories, the longer amount of time you have to spend figuring out how to put it together.
